Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service work efficiently to achieve cost and time targets.

• Ensure TOMRA Food sorting machines perform optimally to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and resolve equipment problems, executing necessary repairs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer support processes.

• Perform installations and modifications on TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Deliver thorough training to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of our systems.

• Keep precise and detailed field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up procedures.

• Must be willing to travel internationally for at least 80% of the time, with a flexible schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in English; additional languages are advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Strong understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
