This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of Therakos equipment within a designated geographic area.
• Deliver direct on-site assistance to clients in hospital and academic medical center outpatient environments.
• Coordinate instrument installations alongside Clinical Services, Territory Managers, and clients.
• Manage service operations in accordance with established KPIs, including those involving third-party service providers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, execute hardware and software upgrades, and perform basic unscheduled repairs.
• Diagnose issues with Therakos instruments and collaborate with engineers to resolve complex problems.
• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, healthcare compliance guidelines, and company policies.
• Investigate and address field complaints, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Offer real-time telephone technical support to hospital staff, biomedical engineers, and service providers.
• Travel with service providers and engineers for skill enhancement and assessment of service quality.
• Arrange service and repair visits through phone and email communication.
• Confirm resolution of issues and provide follow-up communication.
• Stay informed about new products and services while offering technical insights and feedback from end-users.
• Collaborate with management on customer service initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations to clients.
• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical certifications will also be taken into account.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the medical device sector.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems and ISO regulations, including cGMP and ISO standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey technical information effectively.
• Prior experience with NetSuite, Master Control, or similar database systems is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy is essential.
• A customer-centric approach with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Well-honed interpersonal, communication, and active listening abilities.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with proven troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and respond to urgent situations effectively.
• Self-driven individual capable of independently prioritizing and coordinating service activities.
• Ability to establish and maintain robust working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Capacity to work efficiently within cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated passion, commitment, and dedication to producing high-quality work.
• Experience in a regulated and/or global environment is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel significantly: up to 70%, including some overnight trips.
• Capability to lift and transport service tools and equipment and work in hospital and clinical settings.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using hands and feet to operate equipment controls.
• A valid driver's license is required.
