Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist with the technical requirements of Philips Imaging clients and customer service associates.

• Function both autonomously and collaboratively within a larger team to install, maintain, and repair imaging equipment.

• Deliver both field-based and remote technical assistance to customers and coworkers.

• Execute corrective, preventative, installation, and field change order tasks on intricate healthcare systems.

• Identify mechanical, hardware, and software system malfunctions by utilizing established protocols.

• Ascertain the most cost-effective repair or solution to minimize customer downtime.

• Actively engage in an ongoing rotation with the Field Service Engineer team.

• Provide exceptional service while ensuring adherence to Quality and Regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or a Degree in Electro-engineering or a comparable field is highly desirable.

• Proven logical problem solver with the capability to work independently.

• Experience in executing corrective and preventative maintenance for Imaging Systems devices and equipment is desirable.

• Ability to assimilate knowledge across various modalities and diverse product ranges.

• Recognize and adapt to emerging technologies and daily challenges.

• Deliver exceptional levels of customer service.

• Proficient in IT/Network diagnostics, system connectivity, and remote service is desirable.

• A standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) criminal record check is required for this position.
