This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Acquire skills to perform timely and precise Installations, Preventative Maintenance, FMIs, and/or corrective repairs.
• Support seasoned field engineers with the installation of equipment.
• Collaborate with experienced field engineers on basic troubleshooting and service repair requirements for designated equipment.
• Communicate effectively and cooperate with team members and colleagues.
• Develop the ability to communicate effectively with customers to guarantee resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customers and suggest value-added services that will enhance their business operations.
• Stay informed on administrative tasks such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records promptly, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process as necessary, working closely with regional and national support to define and implement corrective action plans for timely resolution of customer issues.
• Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.
• Engage effectively with commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals, and aid in promoting and implementing revenue programs.
• Prioritize customer needs and satisfaction while strengthening the relationship with the customer, ultimately becoming a perceived partner in their business.
• Stay updated on competitor information and market trends.
• Independently handle service calls without assistance within one year of employment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proficiency with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must pass GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.
• A valid Driver's License is required and must be maintained.
• Willingness to be available "after hours" or work a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage as needed.
• Background in Networking and IT is advantageous.
