Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair x-ray inspection systems at customer sites.

• Execute system upgrades and provide hands-on training for customers.

• Create thorough service documentation including reports, protocols, and RMAs.

• Interact with customers to comprehend their requirements and suggest service solutions.

• Offer remote troubleshooting and assistance through phone and online tools.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers to investigate and resolve system failures.

• Keep precise records in the CRM, manage service tickets, and update the knowledge base.

• Take ownership and follow up on outstanding issues after installation or upgrades.

• Provide feedback to engineering and operations to aid in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to deliver after-hours support as necessary.

• Assist with the identification of spare parts and support processing of orders.

• Offer technical insights for aftermarket product quotations.

• Travel internationally, mainly within Europe, with occasional global assignments.

• Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer issues and feedback.

• Develop and distribute user manuals and troubleshooting guides when required.

• Conduct service training for distributors and regional teams.

• Assist with product demonstrations as needed.
