This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products within your designated area of responsibility.
• Ensure that service agreements and warranty commitments are not only met but surpassed.
• Offer technical assistance to end-users as well as Intuitive personnel.
• Facilitate training sessions at Intuitive locations, training centers, and hospitals.
• Conduct system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades.
• Diagnose and repair Intuitive products along with associated equipment.
• Coordinate and execute the delivery and installation of systems and hardware.
• Document service activities, maintain accurate records, and provide reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Complete administrative tasks, including spare parts inventory management, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and expense reports.
• Maintain company-issued tools, vehicles, laptops, iPads, and other assets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Genesis, headquarters, and other teams within Intuitive.
• Provide feedback to headquarters and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer requirements, system install-base configurations, customer contacts, training, and events within the assigned territory.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Capacity to identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent time-management skills with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Typically reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory or designated area.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including second shifts or other shifts as needed.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and maneuver wheeled objects weighing up to 1,200 lbs.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and sustain Vendor Credentialing approval for access to operating rooms.
• Compliance with necessary vaccinations for vendor credentialing.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• General computer proficiency.
• Comfortable working during off-hours with limited support.
• Excellent administrative and record-keeping abilities.
• 1–3 years of field service experience is preferred.
• An Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience is preferred.
• Knowledge and implementation of operating-room protocols and HIPAA standards.
