This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Provide support for Alcon equipment across the Southeast region at customer and demonstration locations.
• Address complex technical tasks to ensure Alcon equipment operates according to established specifications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Alcon surgical equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
• Refer issues to the appropriate engineering teams as needed.
• Oversee daily schedules and ensure timely communication with customers, dispatch, managers, regional teams, and cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to GxP regulations and SOPs while ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
• Fulfill required training and meet individual job expectations.
• Cultivate customer relationships to secure future business opportunities, including sales and renewals of Annual Maintenance Contracts and Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts.
• An associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Experience with advanced medical devices and those that utilize lasers.
• Knowledge of hospital operating room and surgery center protocols.
• Familiarity with ServiceMax / CRM tools.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% overnight.
• Skill in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, installing, maintaining, upgrading, and testing medical equipment.
