Field Service Engineer, AMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Enhance customer uptime by overseeing the installation, integration, and upkeep of Hybrid manufacturing systems, CNC machine tools, and additive technologies.

• Execute advanced electromechanical troubleshooting across laser, controls, welding, and automation subsystems.

• Offer proactive customer support both remotely and on-site.

• Achieve right-first-time results and verify system performance.

• Create standardized integration protocols.

• Clearly communicate with customers, share technical knowledge, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with internal partners, applications teams, and suppliers to tackle complex engineering problems.

• Guide and mentor developing technicians.

• Keep thorough technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

• Strong capability to diagnose and repair intricate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in CNC and manufacturing equipment.

• Practical experience with Haas CNC controls, tooling, probing, automation, and peripheral devices such as robots, bar feeders, and pallets.

• Demonstrated ability to articulate technical issues effectively, manage customer expectations, and foster trust in high-pressure circumstances.

• Proficiency in using email, calendar, and communication platforms.

• Familiarity with service management and CRM systems.

• Knowledge of technical and diagnostic software.

• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of direction.
