This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• The Field Sales Manager is accountable for overseeing sales support in the distribution of products throughout Southern Africa, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Willingness to travel to the Middle Eastern, Sub-Saharan Africa, and North African regions for product training and distributor support.
• Aid in the advancement of the local business management function to align with regional strategy.
• Collaborate with the local Business Management Manager to implement, manage, and support the Business Management system.
• Gather financial data from dealers.
• Evaluate dealer data quality and offer coaching to accountants to enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Assist dealers in developing their Chart of Accounts and other accounting-related subjects.
• Align dealers' Chart of Accounts with the Business Management system's Chart of Accounts and ensure the ongoing integrity of this mapping.
• Upload financial data from dealers to the Business Management system.
• Compute Benchmark and network consolidations.
• Prepare and communicate monthly Business Management reports for dealers along with commentary.
• Generate Monthly and Quarterly Network Performance reports and provide analysis.
• Create Ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Matric / N3 Certificate
• Tertiary Sales Qualification and/or Certification is desirable
• Must possess RE1 and RE5 certification
• Valid driver’s license
• 5 - 8 years of experience in selling Finance and Insurance products, under supervision if not yet FAIS accredited
• 5 - 8 years of Account Management experience in the Short-term Insurance and Automotive Industries
• Essential automotive industry-specific product knowledge and application
• Strong understanding of the operational requirements within the Finance and Insurance Industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of the review process concerning the generation of 2nd gross income within the Finance and Insurance Industry
• Thorough understanding of the South African Short Term Insurance Regulatory Framework and related legislation.
