This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a designated sales territory and drive the growth of CooperVision's contact lens offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Implement business strategies, enhance market share, and meet revenue targets within the assigned territory.
• Achieve and surpass anticipated sales objectives based on the territory quota.
• Maintain a territory call cycle with around 5–7 scheduled appointments per workday.
• Address customer inquiries via phone and email within 24 hours.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to comprehend customer businesses, evaluate needs, and profile accounts.
• Develop and execute call cycle plans, along with preparing account business strategies in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business opportunities within the specified geographic territory.
• Keep technical knowledge up-to-date regarding CooperVision and competitor products.
• Educate clients about CooperVision products and provide recommendations to help grow their businesses.
• Sell value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create customer marketing plans and promotions while assessing return on investment.
• Analyze product performance, account sales, and territory expansion utilizing CRM tools and reports.
• Participate in state and regional optical exhibitions when requested.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer sites.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time.
• Travel outside the territory for conferences, training sessions, and regional meetings around 10–15% of the time.
• Capability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Skill in anticipating, understanding, prioritizing, and fulfilling customer needs.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and diverse daily situations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify, assess, and process information for informed decision-making.
• Proficient in delivering presentations to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Competence in using MS Suite.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Ability to remain seated in front of a computer for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any industry.
• Experience in tangible product sales is preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (high school + 8 years or similar).
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of previous employment, criminal history, educational records, and driving records.
• Valid driver's license, minimum required insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Starting base salary ranging from $85,405.00 to $113,873.00 annually.
• Potential for cost-of-living adjustments.
