This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets based on the designated territory quota.
• Oversee a specific sales area in Asheville and promote growth of CooperVision’s contact lens offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Employ a consultative sales methodology to identify customer needs, evaluate businesses, and profile accounts.
• Maintain a territory call schedule with approximately 5–7 pre-arranged appointments each workday.
• Respond to customer phone calls and email inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Develop and implement call cycle strategies and prepare business plans for accounts in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned geographic territory.
• Keep up-to-date technical knowledge of CooperVision and competitor products.
• Provide education on CooperVision products and suggest solutions to enhance customer businesses.
• Market value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create customer marketing strategies and promotional campaigns while tracking return on investment.
• Evaluate product performance, account sales, and territory expansion utilizing CRM tools and reports.
• Attend state and regional optical shows as requested.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at client locations.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time.
• Travel outside the territory for 10–15% of the time for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings.
• Must reside in the assigned Asheville, NC territory or within a reasonable commuting distance.
• Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any sector.
• Proven track record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent direct related experience, including high school plus 8 years of similar work history.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to anticipate, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer needs.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and daily circumstances.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Skill in identifying, assessing, and integrating information for informed decision-making.
• Capability to present to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity or ability to utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include employment, criminal, educational, and motor vehicle records.
• Valid driver’s license, required insurance coverage, and an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in tangible product sales is desirable.
• Starting base salary ranging from $81,338.00 to $108,451.00 annually.
