
Field Sales Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets set by sales management for the designated territory.
• Optimize time management throughout all phases of the sales process.
• Leverage the CVI sales platform and a structured consultative sales strategy to identify and fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain a territory call schedule with around 5–7 pre-arranged appointments each workday.
• Respond to customer phone calls and email inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Utilize Salesforce, Showpad, Tableau, and other sales tools effectively.
• Develop and implement call-cycle plans and create account business plans in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business opportunities within the assigned geographic territory.
• Keep technical knowledge current regarding CooperVision and competitor products.
• Track industry trends and analyze Health Product Research data.
• Provide education on CooperVision products and recommend solutions to enhance customer businesses.
• Promote value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create customer marketing strategies and promotions and assess their return on investment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools and CRM reports to evaluate product performance, account sales, and territorial growth.
• Attend state and regional optical exhibitions as needed.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Oversee diagnostic contact lens sets at customer sites.
• Travel approximately 80% of the time within the territory.
• Travel outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, training sessions, and regional meetings.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Skilled in anticipating, understanding, prioritizing, and fulfilling customer needs.
• Flexible and able to adjust to dynamic work environments and daily challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Competent in identifying, assessing, and integrating information for informed decision-making.
• Capable of presenting to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working on a computer.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs for the installation, removal, and transport of diagnostic contact lens sets.
• A minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience across any industry.
• Experience in tangible product sales is a plus.
• Proven track record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience (high school diploma + 8 years or similar).
• Successful background check, possibly including employment, criminal history, educational verification, and motor vehicle records.
• Valid driver's license, required insurance coverage, and a satisfactory driving history.
• The position may qualify for additional types of compensation and benefits.
• Opportunities for promotion to a Senior Account Executive Sales role are available after demonstrating a successful track record in this position.
