This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee a designated sales territory and promote the growth of CooperVision's contact lens offerings.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Implement business strategies, increase market share, and meet revenue targets within the assigned area.
• Achieve and surpass projected sales targets based on the territory quota.
• Maintain a territory call cycle with approximately 5–7 scheduled appointments each workday.
• Address customer phone and email inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Utilize Salesforce, Showpad, Tableau, and additional sales tools effectively.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to comprehend customer operations, evaluate needs, and profile accounts.
• Develop and carry out call-cycle plans and prepare account business strategies in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business within the designated geographic area.
• Maintain technical expertise regarding CooperVision and competing products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and Health Product Research information.
• Educate customers about CooperVision products and provide recommendations to enhance their businesses.
• Market value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create and monitor customer marketing strategies and promotions for return on investment.
• Analyze product sales, account performance, and territory growth using CRM reports.
• Attend state and regional optical exhibitions when requested.
• Timely submit call, expense, ROI, and other administrative documentation.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer locations.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time.
• Travel outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site training, and regional meetings.
• Must reside within the assigned Trenton, NJ territory or in close proximity.
• Capability to work autonomously as a self-starter.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Aptitude to anticipate, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer needs.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving work environments and diverse daily situations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to assess and assimilate information for quality decision-making.
• Ability to present to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience across any industry.
• Desirable experience in tangible product sales.
• Proven track record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience, including high school plus 8 years of similar experience.
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include prior employment, criminal history, educational verification, and motor vehicle records.
• Valid driver's license, necessary insurance coverage, and a satisfactory driving record as required by the company.
• Starting base salary ranging from $85,405.00 to $113,873.00 annually.
