This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee a designated sales territory and enhance the growth of CooperVision's contact lens offerings.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Deliver product education, boost product adoption, expand market share, and meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Affairs, Customer Service, and Operations teams to implement business strategies.
• Achieve and surpass territory sales objectives based on sales-management quotas.
• Manage the sales pipeline and uphold a territory call cycle with around 5–7 pre-scheduled appointments daily.
• Address customer phone and email inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to comprehend customer businesses, evaluate needs, and profile accounts.
• Develop and execute call-cycle strategies and prepare account business plans in conjunction with the Regional Director.
• Expand new business within the specified geographic territory.
• Maintain technical knowledge of CooperVision and competing products while staying updated on industry trends and analyses.
• Educate clients about the CVI product range and suggest products to enhance their businesses.
• Promote value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create and track customer marketing strategies and promotions to assess return on investment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and CRM tools to analyze product, account, and territory sales growth.
• Attend state and regional optical exhibitions when requested.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at client locations.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time and outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings.
• Reside in the designated Evanston, IL area or within a reasonable distance.
• A minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any sector.
• Experience in tangible product sales is preferred.
• Proven record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (high school + 8 years or similar).
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Possess a positive and constructive demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to anticipate, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer needs.
• Capacity to adapt to changing work environments and various situations, individuals, and groups.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skill in identifying, evaluating, and assimilating information to make informed decisions.
• Competence in presenting to customer groups of differing sizes.
• Proficient in MS Suite.
• Familiarity or proficiency with CRM systems, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include prior employment, criminal history, educational, and motor vehicle records.
• Valid driver's license, minimum required insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record.
• Starting base salary ranging from $85,405.00 to $113,873.00 per year.
