This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee a designated sales territory and propel the growth of CooperVision's contact lens offerings.
• Foster and sustain relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Implement business strategies, increase market share, and meet revenue targets within the assigned territory.
• Acquire new accounts and stimulate sales growth in the Sarasota, FL area.
• Cultivate professional sales relationships with assigned clients across all distribution channels.
• Achieve and surpass projected sales targets based on the territory quota.
• Maintain a territory call cycle with approximately 5–7 scheduled appointments each workday.
• Address customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to comprehend customer businesses, assess their needs, and profile accounts.
• Develop and implement call cycle plans and prepare account business plans alongside the Regional Director.
• Generate new business within the geographic territory.
• Maintain technical expertise regarding CooperVision and competing products.
• Educate clients on the CooperVision product range and provide recommendations to enhance their businesses.
• Market value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create customer marketing strategies and promotions while tracking return on investment.
• Analyze product, account sales, and territory expansion using CRM tools and reports.
• Participate in state and regional optical exhibitions when requested.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer locations.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time and outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings.
• Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Capacity to anticipate, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer needs.
• Adaptability to changing work environments and daily circumstances.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skill to identify, evaluate, and assimilate information for sound decision-making.
• Capability to deliver presentations to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Ability to remain seated in front of a computer for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• 4+ years of B2B sales experience in any sector.
• Experience in tangible product sales is desirable.
• Proven track record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (high school + 8 years or a similar background).
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Valid driver's license, minimum required insurance coverage, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Position may qualify for additional types of compensation and benefits.
• Cost of living adjustments may be applicable to the starting base pay.
