This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee a designated sales territory while driving the growth of CooperVision’s contact lens offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Implement business strategies, increase market share, and meet revenue targets.
• Achieve and surpass anticipated sales objectives based on territory quotas.
• Maintain a call cycle within the territory, scheduling roughly 5–7 pre-arranged appointments each workday.
• Address customer inquiries via phone and email within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to comprehend customer operations, assess their needs, and profile accounts accordingly.
• Develop and execute call-cycle strategies and prepare account business plans in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business opportunities within the designated geographic territory.
• Stay technically proficient with CooperVision and competitive products.
• Educate customers about CooperVision products and provide recommendations to enhance their business operations.
• Market value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create customer marketing plans and promotions while monitoring return on investment.
• Leverage Microsoft Office and CRM tools to analyze product performance, account sales, and territory growth.
• Participate in state and regional optical exhibitions upon request.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer locations.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time, and up to 10–15% outside of the territory for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings.
• Must reside within the assigned Denver North, CO territory or in close proximity.
• A minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any industry is required.
• Experience in tangible product sales is preferred.
• Proven track record of surpassing daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Capacity to anticipate, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer needs.
• Adaptability to changing work environments and diverse daily scenarios.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skill in identifying, assessing, and assimilating information for informed decision-making.
• Capability to present to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity or experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience (high school + 8 years or similar).
• Must successfully pass a background check, which may encompass employment, criminal conviction, educational, and motor vehicle record verification.
• Valid driver’s license, requisite minimum insurance coverage, and a satisfactory driving record are mandatory.
• Starting base salary ranging from $81,338.00 to $108,451.00 annually.
