
Field Sales Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a designated sales territory and promote the growth of CooperVision’s contact lens offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Achieve and surpass anticipated sales targets based on the assigned territory quota.
• Optimize time management throughout all phases of the sales funnel.
• Employ a structured consultative sales strategy to identify and fulfill customer requirements.
• Maintain a territory call schedule with around 5–7 prearranged appointments each workday.
• Address customer inquiries via phone and email within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Utilize Salesforce, Showpad, Tableau, and various other sales tools effectively.
• Develop and implement call-cycle strategies and prepare account business plans in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business opportunities within the specified geographic territory.
• Keep up-to-date technical knowledge of CooperVision and competing products.
• Analyze industry trends and data, including Health Product Research insights.
• Educate clients on CooperVision’s product range and provide recommendations.
• Promote value-added products and services to client offices.
• Create customer marketing strategies and promotions while tracking return on investment.
• Proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Evaluate product, account sales, and territory growth through CRM tools and reports.
• Attend state and regional optical exhibitions as required.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Oversee diagnostic contact lens sets at client locations.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time.
• Travel outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site training, and regional meetings.
• Capability to work autonomously as a self-motivated individual.

• Skill in anticipating, understanding, prioritizing, and fulfilling customer needs.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving work settings and daily circumstances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to identify, assess, and assimilate information for informed decision-making.
• Proficient in presenting to customer groups of various sizes.
• Expertise in Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Capacity to remain seated in front of a computer for extended durations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any sector.
• Experience in tangible product sales is preferred.
• Proven track record of surpassing daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (high school plus 8 years or similar).
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Valid driver’s license, required insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record.
• Starting base salary ranging from $89,472.00 to $119,296.00 annually.
