Field Safety Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform a needs assessment to identify the alignment between customer requirements and Grainger’s offerings.

• Collaborate with Grainger resources to create a plan and establish a timeline for solution implementation.

• Lead the execution of the implementation plan alongside the customer.

• Follow up with the customer to confirm that their needs have been fulfilled.

• Utilize post-implementation achievements to gather further insights from the customer regarding their future requirements.

• Maintain expertise in Safety Regulations and relevant industry topics.

• Inform customers about evolving market trends and technologies and their effects on their business.

• Explore nonstandard solutions that can effectively and profitably address customer needs.

• Enhance customer awareness and utilization of Grainger's standard product and service offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of applicable experience in the EHS industry, focusing on safety hazard analysis and mitigation, safety consulting, or managing safety programs.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• CSP certification is preferred.

• Experience in conducting workplace evaluations to prevent injuries/accidents and enhance compliance.

• Proficient in Safety, Health, and Environmental strategies and practices aimed at reducing or eliminating hazards and risks.

• Current knowledge of OSHA regulations and relevant industry standards.

• Basic project management capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
