Field Safety Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and advocate for safe working practices on ongoing construction projects.

• Create, execute, and uphold safety plans tailored to each project.

• Perform safety observations, audits, and risk evaluations on site.

• Provide safety training, conduct toolbox discussions, and offer one-on-one coaching sessions.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies.

• Assist in incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.

• Evaluate safety performance metrics and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Foster robust relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety management.

• At least one year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management.

• Must hold, or be prepared to obtain, a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

• Completed OSHA 30 (Construction) training and current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and influence safe practices in the field.

• Willingness to work in outdoor construction settings and travel or relocate as necessary.
