This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Oversee and advocate for safe working practices on ongoing construction projects.
β’ Create, execute, and uphold safety plans tailored to each project.
β’ Perform safety observations, audits, and risk evaluations on site.
β’ Provide safety training, conduct toolbox discussions, and offer one-on-one coaching sessions.
β’ Ensure adherence to safety regulations set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies.
β’ Assist in incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.
β’ Evaluate safety performance metrics and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
β’ Foster robust relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety management.
β’ At least one year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management.
β’ Must hold, or be prepared to obtain, a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
β’ Completed OSHA 30 (Construction) training and current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
β’ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Capacity to work autonomously and influence safe practices in the field.
β’ Willingness to work in outdoor construction settings and travel or relocate as necessary.
