Field Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Providing education to healthcare providers and their office teams on access and reimbursement topics utilizing client-approved materials.

• Assisting in ensuring that patients have appropriate access to the client’s products by addressing reimbursement and coverage issues.

• Collaborating with other patient assistance and reimbursement support services provided by the client.

• Engaging directly with healthcare providers and their office staff to offer insights on reimbursement and access considerations.

• Conducting interactive educational presentations at various provider locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma/GED is mandatory.

• Prior experience as a Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in practice management is preferred.

• Capability to provide field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and consultation to key account clients.

• Familiarity with the dynamics of specialty pharmacy.

• Experience in revenue cycle management, formulary, benefit investigations, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.

• Strong comprehension of pharmacy benefits and policies.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

• Willingness to achieve a Prior Authorization Certified Specialist (PACS) certification within the first six months.
