Field Reimbursement Manager, Psychiatry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) on patient support initiatives, including access and reimbursement assistance tools and services.

• Inform on product-specific acquisition and access alternatives such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution channels.

• Coordinate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to keep HCPs informed about prescription status and program eligibility.

• Partner with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to communicate updates on prescription status and program eligibility.

• Relay payer trends related to approved products back to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a specific therapeutic area, with a background in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement.

• Strong comprehension and the ability to articulate technical aspects related to coding and billing requirements at both the National and Regional levels across all care settings.

• In-depth knowledge of Parts A, B, C, and D of Medicare and their associated reimbursement dynamics.

• A valid driver’s license and the capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
