This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a designated territory providing reimbursement and patient services for a specific medication.
• Assist with Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals processes.
• Deliver on-site and on-demand educational sessions, such as Lunch and Learns and Dinner presentations, for office personnel.
• Inform offices about benefit investigation, prior authorization, support center services, Medicare and commercial coverage, as well as patient communication methods.
• Offer reimbursement support related to case management, billing and coding, claims submission, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity, claims and appeals, and assistance programs.
• Collaborate with case managers on approximately four cases monthly and manage escalations as necessary.
• Schedule appointments, conduct outbound calls to targeted offices, and assist with backlog casework.
• Engage with physicians and manufacturer representatives to share patient and provider-specific information.
• Document all interactions and activities in the FRM CRM and report to management and clients.
• Monitor territory and program performance through CRM dashboards, quarterly reports, and customer feedback.
• Research and gather provider and manufacturer representative information for the reimbursement database.
• Develop facility databases for new providers in the FRM CRM.
• Travel frequently and manage projects or accounts in line with client expectations.
• Candidate must reside in the Dallas, TX area.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare-related reimbursement.
• Extensive medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or specialty pharmacy.
• Experience within the healthcare industry, covering insurance verification, prior authorizations, claims adjudication, physician offices, or clinics.
• Familiarity with Medicare and commercial insurance coverage.
• Capability to provide and document benefit investigation outcomes and communicate regular status updates.
• Demonstrated presentation skills and experience.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
• High level of computer literacy, including PowerPoint and experience with web meetings.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time (four days per week) by car or plane.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record/MVR.
• Ability to work for extended periods while sitting or performing keyboard tasks.
