This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee a designated territory to support reimbursement and patient services for a particular medication.
• Aid in Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals processes.
• Deliver on-site and on-demand training sessions, including Lunch and Learns and Dinner presentations, for office personnel.
• Inform offices about benefit investigation, prior authorization, support center services, Medicare and commercial coverage, as well as patient communication channels.
• Offer reimbursement assistance related to case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity, claims and appeals, and assistance programs.
• Collaborate with case managers approximately four times per month and as needed for escalations.
• Schedule appointments, conduct outbound calls to targeted offices, and support backlog casework.
• Engage with physicians and manufacturer representatives to share patient- and provider-specific information.
• Document all interactions and activities in the FRM CRM and hub system, ensuring regular management and client reporting.
• Monitor territory and program performance using CRM dashboards, quarterly reports, and customer feedback surveys.
• Research and compile information on providers and manufacturer representatives for the reimbursement database.
• Establish a facility database for each new provider within the FRM CRM.
• Travel extensively to perform site visits, manufacturer training sessions, and educational training events.
• Candidate must reside in the Charlotte, NC area.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare-related reimbursement.
• Strong background in medical reimbursement, specifically with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, claims adjudication, working in physician’s offices, or clinics.
• Familiarity with Medicare and commercial insurance coverage.
• Capability to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and provide regular status updates.
• Proven skills in presentation and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and online meeting platforms.
• Previous field experience is advantageous.
• Prior experience in specialty pharmacy is a plus.
• Experience in account management is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Must be willing to travel 80% of the time (four days per week) by car or plane.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR is required.
