This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee a designated territory to provide support for reimbursement and patient services related to a specific medication.
• Address patient reimbursement obstacles, including Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals.
• Inform physician offices about payer landscapes and available services through both remote interactions and on-site training sessions.
• Cultivate relationships with physician offices and representatives from manufacturers.
• Work in tandem with internal program hub support services to fulfill customer requirements.
• Organize site visits, manufacturer training sessions, and venues for educational training.
• Deliver on-site and on-demand education, including Lunch and Learn sessions and Dinner presentations.
• Provide reimbursement support that encompasses case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission, specialty pharmacy navigation, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity assessments, claims and appeals processes, and assistance programs.
• Schedule appointments and conduct outbound calls to targeted offices.
• Aid in managing backlog casework and other daily in-office tasks.
• Collaborate with physicians and manufacturer representatives to share patient- and provider-specific information.
• Document all interactions and activities in FRM CRM and hub systems, ensuring regular management and client reporting.
• Assess territory and program performance utilizing CRM dashboards and quarterly trend reports.
• Gather and compile provider and manufacturer representative information for reimbursement databases.
• Establish facility databases for new providers within FRM CRM.
• Candidate must reside in the NYC, NY area.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare-related reimbursement.
• Strong background in medical reimbursement with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
• Familiarity with working in a physician’s office or clinics.
• Knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance coverage.
• Ability to communicate and document benefit investigation results, along with providing regular status updates.
• Demonstrated presentation skills and experience.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with PowerPoint and web meetings.
• Previous field experience is advantageous.
• Prior specialty pharmacy experience is beneficial.
• Account management experience is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Must be willing to travel 80% of the time (4 days a week) via automobile or plane.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR.
