Field Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Supervise the maintenance and repair of Halter’s on-farm infrastructure.

• Identify hardware problems and promptly relay findings to the relevant team.

• Assist with farm deployments, troubleshoot issues, and aid in installations.

• Offer field insights to the product and engineering teams.

• Take part in the global on-call roster for tower-related emergencies.

• Gather, interpret, and analyze hardware data to enhance processes and operational efficiency.

• Proactively identify issues.

• Assist in the development and management of a maintenance system designed for the Australian market.

• Collaborate with various teams at Halter to promote excellent customer outcomes.

• Travel to farms throughout Australia approximately 3–4 days each week, which may include some overnight stays.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to support Halter’s success in Australia.

• Hands-on experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting is essential.

• Proactive mindset with an ownership-oriented approach and the ability to solve problems on the fly.

• Capability to convert field observations into clear, actionable feedback for remote product and engineering teams.

• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work autonomously.

• Proficient in collaborating with individuals across various locations and time zones.

• Comfortable navigating an early-stage market-entry environment characterized by ambiguity.

• Dedication to providing exceptional service and maintaining infrastructure.

• Readiness to travel regularly and occasionally on short notice across the region.

• Eligibility to work in Australia or possess a valid Australian work permit.

• Full, clean driver's license.
