This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the daily operations of the Remote Field Technician team, managing their everyday tasks such as camera installations, retrievals, support functions, scheduling, workload allocation, and overall field performance.
• Facilitate communication across various departments to guarantee prompt service delivery.
• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate field personnel: Collaborate with the Field Technician Lead to attract, interview, onboard, train, guide, and assess staff members.
• Perform performance evaluations, provide continuous feedback, and assist in employee growth while ensuring accountability for performance standards.
• Assess operational performance: Analyze daily field activities, technician productivity, KPIs, quality metrics, and operational dashboards to identify patterns, enhance efficiency, and uphold high service quality standards.
• Address operational challenges: Recognize deployment obstacles, troubleshoot field-related issues, work with internal teams, and communicate updates, delays, and escalations to secure timely resolutions.
• Oversee administrative tasks: Review and approve timesheets, expense claims, travel requests, schedules, overtime, and paid time off while balancing staffing demands and operational priorities.
• Manage equipment, inventory, and fleet operations: Supervise camera systems, field tools, inventory, and departmental vehicles to ensure that assets are properly maintained, compliant, accessible, and functional.
• Track GPS/telematics data to promote driver safety and enhance fleet efficiency.
• Assist with operational planning: Evaluate referral viability and deployment feasibility, aid in resource planning, monitor operational expenses, and identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
• Generate reporting and leadership updates: Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports, offer insights into technician performance, safety, inventory, fleet operations, staffing, and propose improvements that boost operational efficiency.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.
• At least three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience managing remote or field-based teams.
• Proven experience leading teams that are geographically dispersed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in analyzing operational metrics, KPIs, and performance data.
• Exceptional coaching, employee development, and leadership skills.
• Capability to prioritize several projects in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, scheduling software, expense management systems, and other business applications.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% as business requirements dictate.
