Field Operations Associate II, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Cover the Montreal South Shore area, encompassing Sainte Julie, St-Bruno-de-Montarville, and Sainte-Catherine.

• Serve multiple customer locations along a designated route.

• Receive and stock products purchased at specified customer locations.

• Scan orders as inventory diminishes to ensure appropriate stocking levels.

• Verify that inventory locations have correct labeling and quantities.

• Address customer issues promptly and accurately, adhering to Grainger's policies and procedures.

• Follow Grainger and facility safety and inspection protocols.

• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Conduct machine break/fix activities at client sites.

• Plan and implement customer inventory projects.

• Gather inventory data at customer locations.

• Assist with the KeepStock implementation process by providing accurate information.

• Help customers with staging, labeling, and organizing products.

• Complete processes for product relocation and discontinuation.

• Travel as necessary.

• Carry out assigned branch responsibilities.

• Generate new orders by identifying additional product needs and spot-buy opportunities.

• Implement onsite service components of account strategies.

• Collaborate with sales partners to enhance customer experience and boost business.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Over 3 years of experience in customer service or sales (e.g., Retail, telephone, warehouse) environments.

• Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to customer service and sales growth.

• Comfortable with the daily use of technology.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers, as well as cross-functional partners.

• Strong judgment and independent problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of Grainger’s Core Value Proposition.

• Capability to address various technical and operational challenges.

• Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Background checks and drug screening may be necessary.

• May need to utilize a personal vehicle with valid insurance that meets Grainger’s standards.

• Willingness to visit customer sites.

• Compliance with customer screening procedures when requested.

• Adherence to relevant health and safety regulations and PPE requirements at customer locations.
