Field Nurse Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete coordination of the patient experience;

• May require occasional travel for in-person clinic visits;

• Serve as the primary liaison for physicians enrolling patients in a NavieGo managed program;

• Build and sustain a strong, trusting relationship with designated clinics and physicians, including site visits;

• Act as the main point of contact for NavieGo to request any missing or additional information from relevant physician offices, pharmacies, and/or other healthcare providers;

• Manage all elements needed to secure prescription drug coverage for patients;

• Collaborate with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to support patients throughout their treatment journey;

• Organize documents, submissions, and all necessary paperwork for insurance companies and public funding programs;

• Schedule clinic appointments and arrange drug deliveries within specified timelines;

• Develop and nurture relationships with patients and key healthcare providers;

• Implement best practices to enhance a patient's access to drug coverage;

• Coordinate with pharmacy processes once funding has been secured;

• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of public and private funding systems;

• Available to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingualism in English and French is a plus;

• Current Registered Nurse designation and provincial licensing are mandatory;

• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is advantageous;

• At least 2 years of experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement is required;

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (including Google apps, Word, and Excel);

• Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone communication skills;

• Proven ability to effectively organize time, establish priorities, and manage multiple tasks to meet various competing deadlines;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;

• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating within a team environment;

• Demonstrated capacity to resolve issues effectively and efficiently;

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

• Willingness to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, supporting various regions across Canada.
