This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Provides expertise in therapeutic areas/products for a specific focus within Oncology.
• Informs customers about the clinical and economic implications of Pfizer Oncology medicines and products.
• Aids in customer decision-making and enhances population health through analyses of real-world data, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, outcomes assessments, and medical presentations.
• Plays a key role in Pfizer’s planning and execution of Oncology Medical strategies and engagement with designated customers in the assigned territory.
• Recognizes the priorities of Pfizer Oncology Medical Affairs to assist in the development of Medical content strategies and execute aligned Field Medical initiatives.
• Ensures effective communication and collaboration with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and other Pfizer Field Medical teams.
• Exhibits expertise in communication across various channels, including live and virtual presentations, written correspondence, and telephone or virtual discussions.
• Compliantly integrates knowledge of clinical aspects, Health Information Technology (HIT), market dynamics, and account considerations to develop and implement customer-specific projects, collaborations, and strategic medical partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in health science.
• Relevant experience: 10+ years with a bachelor’s degree; 8+ years with a master’s degree; 7+ years with a terminal degree.
• Experience in Clinical, formulary, and/or other management roles.
• Background in Managed Care, pharmaceutical industry, and/or Quality Improvement.
• Proficient in Data Analytics and/or HEOR activities, with demonstrated strong methodological skills (study design, data analysis, and interpretation) in health services research.
• Significant experience in engaging with payers and other organized customers is essential.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: capable of understanding and responding to the diverse demands of multiple external and internal customers while managing and resolving conflicts constructively.
• A broad range of leadership experiences and capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and create business impact.
• Strong analytical skills, including creativity and effectiveness in proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
• Strong comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to convey substantial scientific information clearly and concisely.
• Highly organized with the capability to be flexible, prioritize various demands, and employ strong situational leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight trips for internal and external meetings (customer, industry, and professional society gatherings).
• Must possess a valid US Driver’s License to operate a Pfizer company car and be located within a 2-hour drive of a major airport; flexibility to travel 40–50% of the time is required.
