This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer expertise in therapeutic areas and products specifically for Oncology.

• Educate integrated customers, such as National Payers, Regional Payers, and Specialty Pharmacy Providers, about the clinical and economic effects of Pfizer Oncology medicines and products.

• Design and implement the Oncology Medical strategy and engagement plans for assigned customers within a designated territory.

• Contribute to the development of the Medical content strategy and execute corresponding Field Medical tactics.

• Facilitate communication among colleagues in headquarters Medical, Medical Information, and Pfizer Field Medical teams.

• Deliver presentations, written communications, and conduct telephone or virtual discussions in both live and virtual formats.

• Initiate and implement customer-specific projects, collaborations, strategic medical partnerships, and non-interventional studies.

• Enhance patient-centric Medical communications and deliverables by applying Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles.

• Address medical inquiries regarding Pfizer products and provide approved medical content.

• Foster communication between regional and national Healthcare Professionals and headquarters Medical Affairs teams.

• Support Pfizer-sponsored collaborative research and facilitate site-initiated research activities.

• Provide objective and scientifically sound medical information utilizing pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, educational programs, HOPEs, non-interventional studies, and collaborations.

• Develop and implement Real World Evidence-based outcomes tools to advance patient care, bridge quality gaps, and tackle population health management challenges.

• Act as the Oncology Medical lead for assigned customers while creating and executing a Medical account plan.

• Engage with Quality Improvement Organizations, Advocacy Groups, Coalitions, and medical/healthcare associations.

• Support Health Information Technology (HIT) initiatives, analyze clinical healthcare information-system workflows, and facilitate care processes.

• Assist in clinical content development and create innovative HIT tools and resources.

• Provide expertise on electronic data collection and planning for Oncology Field Medical colleagues.

• Identify, design, and implement HIT solutions that align with Pfizer Oncology Medical objectives.

• Support HIT and clinical informatics resources for new product and indication launches.

• Create internal and external tools, resources, and educational materials for Field Medical, Outcomes & Analytics teams.

• Represent Pfizer Oncology Medical Affairs leadership in interactions with clinical and professional associations and societies.

• Aid in collaborative projects and publications.

• Review literature, monitor the competitive landscape, network with experts, and attend relevant conferences.

• Collaborate with Pfizer colleagues and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) teams on customer outcomes and data-analysis requirements.

• Serve as a coordinated point of contact for selected high-priority U.S. sites to support enrollment and partnership efforts.

• Manage a significant volume of field-based projects, prioritize tasks, implement initiatives, and meet internal training obligations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health science.

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; 8+ years with a master's degree; 7+ years with a terminal degree.

• Experience in clinical, formulary, and/or management functions.

• Experience in managed care, the pharmaceutical industry, and/or quality improvement.

• Data analytics and/or HEOR experience with robust methodological skills in study design, data analysis, and interpretation.

• Extensive experience engaging with payers and other organized customers.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively.

• Diverse leadership experience, including influencing peers, developing and coaching others, and overseeing colleagues' work.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Capacity to convey complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands while employing situational leadership skills.

• Willingness to travel, including overnight trips.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and capability to operate a Pfizer company vehicle.

• Ability to fly regularly on airplanes.

• Must reside within a 2-hour drive of a major airport.

• Flexibility to potentially travel 40–50% of the time.

• Maintain current internal training requirements.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. with any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
