This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the planning, execution, and enhancement of all external conferences, trade shows, and field marketing events.
• Assist in determining which events to participate in by evaluating market segments, vertical opportunities, and regional expansion priorities.
• Create memorable experiences that stand out in competitive nonprofit and tech event environments (e.g., interactive activations, storytelling areas, “give back” initiatives aligned with our mission).
• Collaborate with sales, partnerships, and marketing teams to ensure that the event strategy is in line with business objectives and revenue targets.
• Formulate event plans, budgets, timelines, and success metrics for each field initiative.
• Oversee event logistics including booth design, collateral, shipping, sponsorship deliverables, and lead capture processes.
• Coordinate speaker submissions, session content, and on-site activities that establish Virtuous as a thought leader in nonprofit fundraising.
• Guarantee that all events embody Virtuous’ brand, messaging, and a customer-first approach.
• Develop pre-event, during-event, and post-event campaigns to enhance engagement and facilitate follow-up.
• Collaborate with marketing operations to monitor, evaluate, and report on event ROI, including leads generated, influenced pipeline, and closed revenue.
• Create playbooks to continuously enhance field performance and boost conversions.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on event objectives, booth staffing, and follow-up strategies.
• Equip sales with the necessary tools, messaging, and collateral to effectively engage prospects at events.
• Partner with marketing to craft compelling narratives and highlight product differentiation on-site.
• 3–5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple conferences and events concurrently from strategy to execution.
• Practical experience with event platforms, lead capture technology, CRM, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot experience preferred).
• Strong project management capabilities; adept with project management software such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Capacity to assess event performance, provide data-driven insights, and optimize for ROI.
• Experience in supporting sales teams with pipeline-driving field marketing initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and/or fundraising technology.
