This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +15 more states.
• Take full ownership of Clarasight's field marketing events, overseeing everything from strategy to post-event analysis.
• Create and maintain a calendar of field events, which includes dinners, roundtables, conferences, and customer summits.
• Act as the primary liaison for vendors, venues, and partners related to Clarasight's events.
• Identify venues and negotiate vendor contracts to secure advantageous terms while managing associated risks.
• Oversee event logistics and operations, which encompasses registration, travel arrangements, run-of-show schedules, on-site staffing, and day-of execution.
• Develop and manage event budgets, monitor expenditures against the plan, and report on ROI and pipeline impact to Sales and Marketing leadership.
• Represent Clarasight at industry conferences and trade shows, handling booth logistics, sponsorships, and on-site staffing responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Sales on account-based field events that align with pipeline and revenue objectives.
• Maintain the field event calendar across various regions, prioritizing based on pipeline stage and account tier.
• Travel to on-site events as required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within a B2B SaaS or similarly dynamic environment.
• Proven experience in negotiating vendor and venue contracts.
• Capability to independently manage all aspects of event logistics and operations from initial planning to on-site execution.
• Strong aptitude for managing budgets meticulously and demonstrating ROI.
• Willingness to travel frequently to support on-site events.
• Proficiency in handling multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Nice to have: experience in organizing account-based field events linked to a sales pipeline.
• Nice to have: knowledge of event management tools such as Splash, Bizzabo, or Cvent.
• Nice to have: background in enterprise software, fintech, or travel technology.
• Nice to have: experience collaborating with AI systems and integrating human judgment into automated outputs.
