This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary instructor and the main point of contact for all field training operations within your Mobile Training Team (MTT).
• Provide classroom instruction utilizing the standardized Neros curriculum, ensuring student engagement and understanding across diverse skill levels.
• Guide students through practical troubleshooting and system operation, tailoring instruction to their skill levels, mission requirements, and field conditions.
• Oversee pre- and post-course logistics, which includes scheduling, site preparation, equipment readiness, and customer coordination.
• Keep thorough training records, including rosters, sign-in sheets, and pass/fail assessments based on established grading criteria.
• Deliver after-action reports, performance summaries, and constructive feedback to the Training Lead.
• Recognize trends or issues in student performance and offer structured feedback to enhance future curriculum design.
• Collaborate with the FPV Flight Instructor and cross-functional teams—such as Mission Success—to ensure that training is in line with operational realities and system capabilities.
• Uphold professionalism and instructional excellence in both classroom and range settings.
• Proven experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring adults in technical or tactical settings.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and leadership skills within a classroom environment.
• Knowledge of FPV systems and UAV operations, encompassing basic air and ground components.
• Ability to confidently lead groups in both classroom and field situations, with adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills, including grading, reporting, and inventory management.
• High level of composure and professionalism in fast-paced or challenging conditions.
• Strong mission-first mindset, willingness to travel, and a deep sense of ownership regarding training results.
• Capability to carry 50 lbs. of equipment over 5 km of diverse terrain, stand for extended periods while wearing body armor, and tread water for at least 10 minutes.
