This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• **Your Responsibilities: **
• - Independently or as part of a team, install displays, mounting hardware, A/V equipment, and connectivity systems at customer sites.
• - Maintain and service installed products at customer locations.
• - Execute installation, setup, and disassembly of products for demonstrations and trade shows.
• - Report and escalate product issues and their resolutions to the relevant personnel.
• - Collaborate with Technical Support and Engineering teams to address issues when standard troubleshooting and hardware replacement do not resolve the problem.
• - Offer training and certification to integrators on-site when suitable conditions apply.
• - Document completed projects with precise notes and records.
• - Provide backup assistance to the Tech Support/Helpdesk to address customers' technical inquiries via phone and email.
• - Relay end-user feedback and issues to the appropriate personnel, while proactively suggesting solutions or necessary actions.
• - Maintain acceptable standards of professional conduct in the workplace.
• - Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance at work.
• - Manage stress effectively.
• - Adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced job environment.
• **Essential Qualifications: **
• - Strong interpersonal, telephone, customer service, time management, and decision-making skills are crucial.
• - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey appropriate information to customers and team members professionally.
• - Proficient in written communication to document completed installations.
• - Knowledge of order processes, escalation procedures, and the ability to provide feedback to the Project Manager.
• - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor across various work environments.
• - Work independently while remaining efficient and productive, completing tasks to a high standard.
• - Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• - Basic understanding of electronics and connectivity concepts.
• - General knowledge of HVAC and power requirements.
• - Familiarity with various A/V cables, including but not limited to HDMI and CAT 6.
• - Understanding of wiring schematics, measurements, and system drawings.
• - Ability to read Visio and/or CAD drawings.
• - Capability to create Visio or CAD line drawings is preferred.
• - Knowledge of third-party control systems (Creston, AMX, etc.) is advantageous.
• - Experience in system integration is preferred.
• - Government clearance is a plus.
• - Comfortable working on ladders for extended periods.
• - Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
• - Familiarity with the order process, escalation process, and providing project feedback to the Product Management team.
• - Mental acuity to engage in ongoing interpersonal interactions, analyze, and solve problems is essential.
• - Willingness to actively participate in team development and collaborative processes.
• - Physical capability to utilize computer hardware and software is required.
• - Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen at any time based on client onsite requirements.
