📋 Description

• The primary role of the DRP Field Implementation Manager is to supervise all dealer DRP implementations across various regions, guiding the Dealer Group DRP initiatives while acting as the Channel Field's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Digital Retail Platform.

• Function as the regional lead for dealership group implementations, delivering high-touch, personalized support to guarantee a seamless rollout experience.

• Oversee the implementation pipeline and monitor dealer progress through the stages of pre-onboarding, onboarding, and go-live, removing obstacles that may hinder timely completion.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in GM’s DRP (Digital Retail Platform), dealership operations, and best practices in automotive digital retailing to foster strong engagement and utilization.

• Ensure dealer engagement throughout the implementation process to build momentum and readiness, making certain that key dealership personnel adhere to necessary turnaround times for critical implementation milestones.

• Act as a relationship manager for dealers during the implementation phase, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and managing resistance effectively.

• Proactively identify risks associated with DRP implementation and work to mitigate them efficiently.

• Document, communicate, and escalate issues or concerns as needed.

• Collaborate with field resources (DRP Implementation Partners) by supporting the non-technical and relationship-driven elements of the implementation while they concentrate on technical execution.

• Provide clear, engaging presentations and product demonstrations utilizing established presentation materials.

• Strive to ensure each dealership group has a positive implementation experience and is launched successfully on schedule.

• Effectively prioritize time, concentrating on high-impact DRP activities while maintaining alignment with established DRP objectives.

• Manage travel and program-related expenses in accordance with GM policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in dealership consulting or automotive retail operations.

• Strong comprehension of the retail automotive industry, including common terminology, dealership structures, and workflow processes.

• Familiarity with dealership and automotive retail software platforms, such as DMS, CRM, and digital retailing solutions.

• Knowledge of dealership desking or F&I processes.

• Quick learner capable of keeping pace with rapidly evolving digital solutions.

• Proven ability to maintain a positive, solutions-oriented mindset in high-pressure situations.

• Strong collaboration skills with the capacity to work effectively within the General Motors team, as well as with clients and vendor partners.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in delivering presentations, leading constructive discussions, and managing objections with resilience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Willingness to travel weekly (up to 60% overall based on territory).
