This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the representative for the PO at RSR locations, adhering to a rigorous multi-site timeline.
• Function as a subject matter expert (SME) for the RSR program office, supporting project management, implementation, and engineering leads.
• Engage in final planning and site readiness, which includes creating site implementation strategies and conducting necessary site visits.
• Offer onsite consultation during installation and construction to assist with implementation and disposition tasks, including guiding contractors on requirements based on design specifications and the statement of work (SOW).
• A Bachelor’s Degree along with 4-8 years of pertinent experience, or a Master’s Degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• Proven experience in the research, design, and development of electrical systems and equipment.
• Successful completion of formal Radar training at the FAA Academy.
• Previous Radar certification authority at one or more airports.
• Several years of practical field experience with one or more Radar systems within the active NAS.
• In-depth understanding of FAA operational risk management protocols.
• Capability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a small team, while adhering to a demanding installation schedule.
• A demonstrated commitment to maintaining high-quality practices during RSR implementation.
• Professional representation of Leidos to FAA clients, ensuring the delivery of “best of the best” support.
• Proven knowledge of FAA construction and installation standards at RSR locations.
