This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
β’ Report to the ECH Field Engineer Manager.
β’ Be responsible for system implementation in accordance with site design specifications.
β’ Conduct on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for both on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions.
β’ Configure supported ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS applications.
β’ Execute site verification testing prior to production cutover.
β’ Set up and troubleshoot connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments.
β’ Assist customers and channel partners during the production deployment phase.
β’ Document changes to solutions, cloud tenant configurations, and API integrations throughout the implementation process.
β’ Address installation and quality issues quickly and efficiently.
β’ Contribute to the development and approval of Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
β’ Engage in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations as necessary.
β’ Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
β’ Travel 50β75%, with over 75% being U.S. and international travel as outlined in the role description.
β’ High School diploma or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in an Engineering or Technical setting.
β’ More than 3 years of experience in the deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
β’ CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications.
β’ Proficiency in troubleshooting cloud-based applications, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory).
β’ Experience with installation, administration, and troubleshooting of VMware ESXi v.6+ and/or Microsoft Hyper-V 2012+.
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2/2012/2016/2022.
β’ Knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2022.
β’ Experience with Windows 10 & 11.
β’ Linux experience.
β’ Experience with network switches, ideally Cisco IOS.
β’ Basic understanding of firewalls and routers, preferably Fortinet FortiGate.
β’ Knowledge of telephony concerning analog lines and PRI, including troubleshooting and physical configuration/termination.
β’ Familiarity with ACD call routing and provisioning.
β’ Understanding of SIP interfaces and call flow ladders for troubleshooting and provisioning the SBC.
β’ Basic Active Directory knowledge related to account segregation and role assignments.
β’ Ability to work independently using various guides and remote support options.
β’ Capability to manage time effectively based on objectives and goals.
β’ Familiarity with virtual machine deployments and hosted systems, such as ESXi/KVM Red Hat.
β’ Understanding of Cisco switch configurations.
β’ Must either possess or be eligible for a U.S. passport for international travel up to 75%.
β’ Experience with server and workstation hardware.
β’ Previous experience in Public Safety Applications deployment and integration, and/or operations and administration is preferred.
β’ Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain the necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
