This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Support the Site Manager in the arrangement of structural, civil, process, and architectural components of buildings.
• Assist in the procurement process for construction materials.
• Execute purchase orders, track deliveries, and complete receiving documentation.
• Conduct on-site material placement surveys and report quantities on a weekly basis or as directed.
• Aid in scheduling construction activities and oversee material deliveries and subcontractor performance.
• Create bid lists, issue procurement documents, review bids, and assess proposals within a timeframe of two to six months.
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of safety and QA/QC standards, as well as conduct safety meetings.
• Review, assimilate, and log shop drawings and submittals.
• Keep red-line as-built drawings updated and modify construction documents as necessary.
• Oversee jobsite operations in the absence of the Site Manager.
• Conduct and document QA/QC audits while following up on corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of daily reports and monthly man-hour reports.
• Make immediate safety and quality decisions and escalate any issues that fall outside specifications.
• Uphold Gray's safety program and act as on-site safety representative when required.
• Investigate safety incidents and compile accurate reports.
• Coordinate with city officials, OSHA, and inspectors; schedule and document inspections accordingly.
• Take ownership of assigned scopes of work and manage subcontractor activities.
• Maintain daily progress drawings utilizing Bluebeam, Excel, or Assemble.
• Prepare agendas and minutes for site meetings, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Relay customer-requested changes to the Site Manager and Project Manager.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with a minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience, OR 4+ years of pertinent construction experience in place of a degree.
• Fundamental computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as usage of tablets and smartphones.

• Willingness to travel to project sites across the United States, and potentially outside the U.S.
• Must be flexible to reside anywhere in the USA.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands listed, including frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
