Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives to spearhead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Establish trusted partnerships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, acting as their technical advisor.

• Convert customer requirements into solution designs, advising on best practices for implementation, strategy, and configuration.

• Create and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops customized to meet customer needs.

• Serve as the technical advocate for customers internally, shaping roadmap priorities and relaying feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

• Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure a seamless transition and successful onboarding for customers.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of Cursor’s capabilities and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate our value.

• Assist in strategic account planning and contribute to driving expansion opportunities through technical validation.

• Excellent communication skills and executive presence, comfortable coding with developers or presenting to CTOs.

• Profound understanding of the software development lifecycle, modern engineering organizational structures, and challenges in developer productivity.

• Practical technical expertise, fluency in technical workflows, AI tools, and troubleshooting complex environments.

• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate technical details into business impact.

• Experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting for enterprise software.

• Ability to thrive in a startup setting: resourceful, adaptable, and proactive in developing solutions.
