This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement tailored, bottoms-up financial models that quantify ScaleOps' business impact across infrastructure expenditure, operational overhead, licensing, developer efficiency, and risk management.
• Facilitate executive-level brainstorming sessions, presentations, and boardroom conversations that link technical advantages to profit and loss effects, capital efficiency, and competitive edge.
• Engage in discussions with senior customer stakeholders to identify issues related to Kubernetes cost challenges, operational vulnerabilities, scalability limitations, and ScaleOps solutions.
• Establish the Value Engineering practice, which includes discovery guides, ROI/TCO templates, mapping of technical-to-business pain points, champion decks, and customer success stories.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and leadership to support opportunities, validate business cases, expedite deals, and enhance strategic accounts.
• Analyze customer trends around ROI, infrastructure economics, and value realization to inform actionable inputs for the Product roadmap.
• Develop the engagement strategy and collaboration model with field teams during the initial six months.
• Generate external thought leadership and contribute to sales kickoffs, executive briefings, and live deal business cases.
• Oversee the entire Value Engineering process from discovery to executive presentation and deal closure.
• Position ScaleOps as a credible authority on Kubernetes TCO and infrastructure economics, and create a repeatable field playbook.
• Over 5 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, value engineering, solutions consulting, or a related discipline.
• Ideally experienced in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or markets related to Kubernetes.
• Strong financial modeling abilities, which include bottoms-up cost analysis, ROI frameworks, and TCO modeling.
• Technical proficiency to lead meaningful discovery sessions with leaders in engineering, platform, infrastructure, and finance.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture, distributed systems, or cloud cost frameworks is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability to lead executive-level discussions and convert complex technical ideas into financial narratives.
• Experience working collaboratively with enterprise sales, technical teams, customer success, and product teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for boardroom presentations and interactive working sessions.
• Proven experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows for analysis, planning, decision-making, efficiency, and quality.
