This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of the complete technical track for qualified EMEA Analytics and AI opportunities, guiding them from the initial architecture discussion to achieving a technical win without transferring responsibilities.
• Spearhead the technical initiatives for AI and GenAI applications involving Postgres vector search, retrieval, RAG, and agentic workloads, converting emerging customer needs into successful solutions.
• Conduct proofs of concept, benchmarks, and sizing, which includes scoping services and managing complex migrations.
• Create reference architectures and clearly articulate EDB's technical advantages in competitive scenarios with confidence.
• Engage at the enterprise and CxO levels, providing executive advisory, thought leadership, and board-level positioning for strategic accounts.
• Thoroughly document every deal progression into playbooks, reference architectures, and demonstrations, enabling any SE in the regional organization to identify and highlight the next opportunity. We enhance the field rather than replace it.
• Co-facilitate the weekly Analytics & AI Open Hours for EMEA, offering real-time enablement, market insights, and coaching for sellers and SEs.
• Close the feedback loop with Product and Engineering by transforming deal challenges into roadmap signals through the weekly win/loss feedback cycle.
• Over 8 years of extensive hands-on experience with Postgres and data platforms, particularly in analytical and OLAP workloads, data warehousing, and operational data systems.
• Authentic, up-to-date experience in designing AI and GenAI solutions on data platforms, including vector search, embeddings, retrieval and RAG, and emerging agentic patterns. You possess the capability to build these solutions, not just discuss them.
• Demonstrated ability to manage POCs, benchmarks, sizing, and complex migrations from start to finish, along with creating reference architectures that earn customer trust.
