Field Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• This role involves on-site management of field construction, specifically for candidates with extensive knowledge of construction methods related to electrical substations and experience in underground HV duct bank installation.

• The individual will have direct responsibility for overseeing the construction activities of the project.

• Key functions include supervising safety protocols, ensuring quality control and assurance, conducting daily reporting on-site, and performing inspections for environmental compliance.

• The position requires reporting directly to the project manager concerning project-specific matters and to the Manager of Quality Assurance for project assignments, general installation practices, and inspection processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be OSHA 30 trained or possess an MSHA equivalent certification.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction of transmission lines or substations is required.

• Proficient understanding of high and medium voltage electrical transmission, substation, and distribution systems.

• Exceptional organizational capabilities are essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

• Familiarity with various computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint, and FTP protocol software is required.

• Frequent travel should be anticipated.

• The selected candidate will undergo client-mandated drug and background checks and must adhere to the requirements set by EPC Services Company’s auto insurance carrier.
