This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Act as the primary technical and strategic representative in discussions with CISOs, VPs of OT/Plant Security, and leadership in operations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Solution Engineers on significant and enterprise-level opportunities.
• Address security and resilience inquiries specific to OT, encompassing topics such as segmentation, air-gapped and hybrid environments, ICS attack surface, recovery objectives, configuration drift, and asset visibility.
• Illustrate how Octovision's asset inventory facilitates vulnerability management, risk prioritization, and governance within OT/IT contexts.
• Develop mutual close plans and establish technical/security exit criteria for advanced-stage deals.
• Design and provide training for Solution Engineers and Account Executives covering OT security, resilience, asset inventory, and convergence.
• Generate battlecards, discovery frameworks, ROI/risk narratives, and competitive positioning materials.
• Mentor and coach the Solution Engineering team.
• Represent AMDT at industry conferences, customer roundtables, and forums focused on OT security.
• Relay customer insights and objections to Product and Marketing teams.
• Keep track of the OT/ICS threat landscape, regulatory changes, convergence trends, and competitive activities.
• Travel to customer locations and industry events as required, up to 40% of the time.
• Over 8 years of experience in OT/ICS security, industrial operations, or technical leadership on the plant floor.
• Practical experience with backup, disaster recovery, configuration/change management, or OT asset inventory/visibility within manufacturing, energy, or industrial settings.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Hands-on experience managing OT recovery, change management, or asset visibility.
• Proficient understanding of OT/IT convergence dynamics.
• Capability to engage as an equal with senior security and operations executives at Fortune 500 firms in the industrial and energy sectors.
• Previous experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing vendor roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of navigating both strategic discussions and technical details.
• Proven ability to create training and enablement materials and foster the development of others.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% to customer locations and industry events.
• Must possess experience in OT/ICS security, industrial operations, or technical leadership on the plant floor.
