This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Acts as the main point of contact for physicians.

• Engages with patients and program stakeholders as necessary, fostering and sustaining trusted relationships in your assigned area.

• Provides education to healthcare providers and their staff regarding program services, patient support resources, and assists in navigating therapy, reimbursement, and enrollment processes.

• Reviews patient records to ensure all necessary documentation is completed, including special authorizations, enrollment forms, and prescription renewals.

• Takes full responsibility for the special authorization process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, along with expert guidance for reimbursement.

• Maintains ongoing communication, updates, and advice to physicians about patient status and any changes or best practices within the program.

• Modifies program components to address the specific needs of healthcare providers, customizes support for both in-clinic and remote care, and proactively identifies opportunities for quality improvement.

• Additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or an equivalent degree (BSc in Pharmacy or other Science-related degrees).

• Familiarity with the public or private third-party reimbursement landscape.

• Bilingualism is preferred (mandatory for the province of Quebec).

• Previous experience as a Case Manager is advantageous.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Understanding of medical terminology.

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

• Ability to engage with physicians and their staff as a knowledgeable and trustworthy medical counterpart.

• Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency.

• Proficient in collaborating efficiently with program associates.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote environment.

• Proficient in effective verbal and written communication in both English and French for the provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick.

• Detail-oriented and results-driven.

• Ability to adapt to changes and uncertainties.

• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Willingness to attend Continuous Healthcare Education (CHE) events with healthcare professionals, which may take place outside of regular business hours.

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and vehicle.
