
Field Calibration Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Conduct calibrations in line with company protocols and relevant standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001, AS9100, ANZ540).
• Assist across a variety of calibration fields with opportunities for cross-training to enhance knowledge.
• Thoroughly document calibration outcomes while ensuring full compliance and traceability.
• Maintain calibration standards and report any equipment concerns as necessary.
• Travel to client locations, balancing local responsibilities with occasional overnight journeys.
• Establish and support mobile calibration workstations and onsite laboratories.
• Effectively communicate with clients regarding service updates, technical requirements, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure timely project completion.
• Participate in cross-training to develop expertise across various disciplines.
• Provide feedback aimed at enhancing service delivery and improving customer satisfaction.
• Comply with safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and calibration standards.
• Take part in audits, compliance assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen).
• 1–3 years of calibration experience in either a laboratory or field setting.
• Preferred experience with RF/GP calibration.
• Willingness to travel for assignments (both local and overnight) with expenses covered by the company.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and associated calibration standards.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to technical procedures.
• Must possess a valid and active driver's license.
• Travel encompasses a combination of local day trips and overnight assignments.
• Expenses for travel assignments are covered by the company.
