This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Participate in various environmental projects, which include biological surveys, assessments, wetland delineations, and resource analysis.
• Responsible for gathering data, conducting field surveys, coordinating with agencies, obtaining environmental permits, and authoring technical reports.
• Work will be carried out both independently and alongside a team of natural resource specialists and scientists.
• The primary work locations are Brownsville, TX, or Del Rio, TX. This role is seasonal, lasting for 12 months or more.
• A bachelor's degree in biology, natural resources, wildlife management, botany, wildlife biology, ecology, or a related field.
• Proven ability to analyze information accurately, make informed decisions, and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and database management.
• Experience with GIS, including ArcGIS or similar platforms.
• Skills in technical writing and editing.
• Outstanding communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
• A positive, proactive attitude towards tasks and assignments.
