Field Applications Scientist, Proteomics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide technical support and training for the Olink proteomics product lineup.

• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to offer product demonstrations and application support, fostering research and innovation.

• Offer both pre-sales and post-sales technical expertise across various technology platforms.

• Develop new applications and resolve intricate technical challenges.

• Establish and maintain robust relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, R&D, and product management teams to ensure customer success and promote business growth through technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with over 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven expertise in method development and technical problem-solving.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to varied audiences.

• Strong presentation and training abilities for both technical and non-technical groups.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a results-driven environment.

• Experience in project management and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Customer service-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to forge and maintain effective relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
