
Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist customers with detailed or complex inquiries regarding the immunoassay platform.
• Deliver scientific presentations to potential clients and aid in pre-sales activities.
• Participate, present, and engage with clients at scientific conferences, meetings, and trade shows.
• Offer feedback and updates to team members, including those in sales, marketing, and product management.
• Act as a subject matter expert in immunoassays.
• Collaborate with global Field Application Support teams to train colleagues and optimize resource sharing.
• Empower scientists by providing training and support on instrument operation, assay development, and data analysis.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams within the designated territory.
• Aid sales initiatives through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and participation in vendor exhibitions.
• Deliver post-sales assay development and troubleshooting assistance to customers in-person, virtually, and via phone and email.
• A minimum of a BS/BA degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or a related life science discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with immunoassays is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of immunoassay principles is required.
• Ability to independently conduct assay and reagent troubleshooting, optimization, and validation experiments.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation and training delivery.
• Significant knowledge of current scientific literature, as well as life science methodologies and applications.
• Proven ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently; prior experience in Field Applications/Technical support is advantageous.
