This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Deliver technical support before, during, and after sales through live demonstrations, troubleshooting, proactive customer engagement, and collecting feedback.
β’ Showcase ONIβs technology suite at customer locations across various application areas.
β’ Keep up-to-date with advanced imaging methods to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
β’ Connect with the scientific community by participating in conferences, webinars, seminars, presentations, and demonstrations.
β’ Collaborate closely with the Sales team by offering scientific insights during pitches and meetings.
β’ Design and execute experiments either at customer locations or within ONIβs laboratory.
β’ Support customers with product setup and operation through both remote and on-site demonstrations and training sessions.
β’ Provide continuous hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
β’ Manage the packing and shipping of components, instruments, and products.
β’ Coordinate shipments with the global logistics team.
β’ Keep records of customer interactions, demonstrations, issues, and resolutions in Salesforce.
β’ Create reports on customer feedback, product performance, and customer success metrics for the Product and Marketing teams.
β’ Identify technical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance on instruments.
β’ PhD in life sciences.
β’ Experience in characterizing and analyzing data from biological samples using relevant fluorescence microscopy techniques.
β’ Developed protocols for the preparation of samples in fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), immunohistochemistry, or fluorescence microscopy.
β’ Conducted live demonstrations and presentations of innovative Life Science technologies to technical audiences.
β’ Managed and prioritized multiple projects simultaneously across various phases.
β’ Worked effectively as part of a multidisciplinary scientific team.
β’ Experience in sample preparation for fluorescence microscopy, FISH, or immunohistochemistry.
β’ Proficient in analyzing microscopy data.
β’ Identified suitable use cases for microscopy experiments.
β’ Possessed commercial acumen and understanding of the capital equipment sales process within the life sciences industry.
β’ Strong verbal and written scientific communication skills.
β’ Excellent presentation skills.
β’ Developed data science algorithms for image analysis.
β’ Utilized super-resolution microscopy for biological research.
β’ Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
β’ Experience in sample preparation for super-resolution microscopy.
β’ Minimum of 2 years in a commercial FAS role, with at least 2 years in laboratory and related disciplines preferred.
