This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Regular travel to customer locations is essential.
• Addressing technical issues related to user expertise, biochemistry/assay creation, experimental design, software, and instruments.
• Assisting the commercial team and clients with their technical applications and offering product training.
• Collaborating with a varied distributor network to train and support their teams promptly.
• Exhibiting professionalism, understanding, tact, fairness, and technical knowledge in all interactions with customers.
• Providing strategic and competitive insights to marketing and product development teams, while independently leading or managing beta tests at customer sites.
• Working autonomously on significant and unique challenges that necessitate collaboration with key decision-makers and senior management across the organization, which may influence future products, concepts, and technologies.
• Supporting sales and marketing in pre and post strategic sales activities that require both technical expertise and market knowledge.
• Conducting customer training and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
• Using service CRM software to accurately identify and document customer opportunities.
• Partnering with internal teams to resolve customer issues and enhance processes.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years in NGS library construction (a combination of experience and education may be considered).
• Hands-on experience with cell culture and tissue handling is required.
• Preferred experience with NGS sequencing instruments and sequencing run setup, along with NGS sample and library preparation workflows.
• Must be highly motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in cell biology, microscopy, and multiomics is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and strong relationship-building capabilities.
• Highly collaborative and adaptable; able to function well within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in nucleic acids and protein analytical techniques.
• Ability to generate high-quality and reproducible wet-lab data from established protocols.
• Comfortable navigating technical project discussions.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven account management skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
